Here at Emmanuel Baptist Church, we know kids. We know that they learn by hearing and doing. Our goal is to help them understand biblical truths and how to use these truths in their everyday lives. In E-Kids, you can be confident that your children will experience the Word of God on their level with age-appropriate curriculum and teachers that can speak into their lives. Our passion is to enable your child to grow in faith and to recognize the truth of Scripture in his or her daily life. We want to support you as the parent(s) while helping your child to take the next step in his or her faith journey.

E-Kids Sunday School
Sunday School meets in the children’s department from 9:00-10:15am on Sunday morning. We have classes for children of all ages.

3rd – 6th grade
E-Kids Children’s Church
Children’s Church is a place for kids to learn about God’s word in a way that resonates with them. To help support parents and foster family discussion, the children learn about the same passage that the adults are studying in the worship service. Children’s Church is open to children in K5-6th grade, and we also have a nursery available for babies-PreK. Children’s Church starts at 10:45am with drop-off beginning at 10:30am.
AWANA
AWANA meets on Wednesdays at 7pm and is a vital part of our children’s department. It builds off of 2 Timothy 2:15 where we are instructed, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth” (ESV). Taking its name from this verse, AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.
In AWANA, the Word of God is introduced at a young age and built on throughout the elementary years. The interactive curriculum includes Bible study, fun activities, games, and more. Your child’s teacher will partner with you to help nurture a love of Scripture in your child’s heart. We have classes for:
Cubbies ages 3 – 4
Sparks K5 – 2nd grade
Truth and Training 3rd – 6th grade
E-Kids Vacation Bible School
An exciting and interactive VBS is a highlight of every child’s summer! We learn songs together, study God’s Word in class, have a snack time, play hard, learn about missionaries from around the world, and have a hands-on craft time. This fun and engaging activity is open to children age 3 – 6th grade. Our 2022 VBS will be July 18th-22nd from 6pm-8pm with drop-off starting at 5:30pm. This year, we’ll be learning how we are created by God, designed by Him for a purpose, and empowered through the Holy Spirit to accomplish that purpose. E-Kids Summer Camp
Each summer, our 3rd-6th graders go away to a week-long Bible camp. They have a wonderful time of learning, playing, growing, and worshiping together. Not only do the kids benefit individually, but they also learn the importance of working together within the Body of Christ. Our Summer Camp is on hold for 2022, but check back for updates about the 2023 schedule. We’re looking forward a great time with the kids!
