Community is about people, and when a community is centered on Christ, people are encouraged, challenged, enriched, and grown. Here at Emmanuel, we work hard to provide a healthy community for people. We have educational opportunities, times of fellowship, ways to serve, communal worship, and more. As we each seek to glorify God, the connections we have with each other are strengthened, and community is developed.

The twenty-first century is a unique time, though, with its own set of difficulties. One of the ways that Emmanuel is working to meet the needs of its people is by developing an online community – a place where people can gather online when they can’t make it to the church building. We want you, regardless of your situation, to be connected in community and able to participate in all the things that make a church family so special.

We’re in the initial stages, but if you would like to be a part of our online community, please email Heather at hgray@ebcnva.org.

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. (Colossians 3:12-15, ESV)
