Valery Spangler
Music Director, Youth Leader

Valery grew up in North Carolina and Tennessee. During her time in Nashville, she discovered her love for the Lord, for His people (the Church), and for music. Valery began music lessons at the age of twelve and joined her church worship team at fifteen. She has served as a volunteer in music ministry for nine years, including during her college and seminary career. Valery also has a passion for middle and high school students, as she was saved by Christ through her high school youth group. She has been a part of youth ministries in her local church and at youth camp over the past seven years. Valery and her husband Alex moved to Virginia in answer to God’s call on their lives, and Valery is excited to combine her talents and passions for Youth and Worship Ministries here at Emmanuel.
